The estate is divided into different sectors, which are currently named A through to H. The most privileged sector in terms of both price level and views is sector H, located at the highest peak of La Zagaleta and very close to security at the North entrance. In sector H, almost all properties are southwest-oriented and enjoy fantastic views of Africa and Gibraltar. Many properties in sector H are listed between 10 and 20 million euros, like this stunning mansion pictured below, priced at 19,500,000€.
What types of property are there?
La Zagaleta is mostly villas, ranging in sizes from 500 m² to over 3000 m² in the largest mansions. However, there are a couple of townhouses near to the Golf Clubhouse. These are rarely available however one unit did sell in 2023 for just under 1 million euros.
As mentioned earlier, there are some plots available to purchase however these are few and far between. What is available varies from 3.000 m² up to approximately 15.000 m².
Prices for plots depend on their location within the community, the views they have and the terrain. As La Zagaleta is built on a mountainside with just a few flat areas, you may find a large plot where a retaining wall is required.
