I have been sitting on this post for a while. Not because I did not know what to say, but because I wanted to make sure the site was actually ready before I said anything. When you visit verdinproperty.com now, you will notice things look different. Quite different. This is not a refresh in the cosmetic sense – a new font here, a new colour there. We rebuilt the whole thing.
Here is what went into it, and why it matters.
Why We Rebuilt From Scratch
Verdin Property has changed a lot since the last version of the website went live. We cover more ground geographically, from Marbella to Sotogrande. Our portfolio has grown. Our marketing has evolved. And the way buyers search for property – what they expect, what they need, how they research – has shifted considerably.
The old site served us well. But it was built for a version of Verdin Property that no longer existed. At some point you have to stop patching and start again, and that point arrived.
I am responsible for all branding and marketing at Verdin Property, and I will be honest – rebuilding a website while running an agency is not a small undertaking. It took longer than I expected, went through more iterations than I care to admit, and at one point the old site came down just after the new year while we finalised the last details. That period of being offline was not planned to last as long as it did, but in retrospect it reinforced something: we were not going to push something live until it was genuinely ready. Some things take the time they take.
What Has Changed
The Visual Identity
The colour palette and overall aesthetic have been overhauled, but in a subtle way. The new direction is cleaner and more refined – navy, white, copper – strong typographic hierarchy, a more considered use of space. The goal was a site that feels as premium as the homes we represent, without competing with them. The properties are the product; the website is the frame.
When you are presenting homes at this level – villas on the Golden Mile, frontline beach apartments in Estepona, estates in La Zagaleta – the visual standard of the platform matters. It signals to buyers and sellers alike that the agency they are dealing with takes presentation seriously.
The Property Search Experience
We have overhauled how properties are displayed and navigated. Listings are cleaner, key information is easier to read at a glance, and the overall experience of browsing the portfolio is significantly improved. Whether you are on a desktop or a phone, finding the right property, and understanding it quickly, should feel effortless.
A Proper Home for Buyers and Vendors
The new structure gives buyers and vendors their own dedicated spaces, with relevant information, guides, and resources tailored to where they are in their journey. If you are thinking about selling, the marketing guide section reflects what we actually do, the photography, the video, the virtual tours, rather than generic agency copy.
The Blog and Guides Section
Content has always been important to us. We have been building out our knowledge base – area guides, market commentary, legal and planning updates – for years, and the new site gives that content the architecture it deserves. Categories are clearer, navigation is more intuitive, and new posts are easier to find.
Introducing VERA®
This is the part I am most proud of.
VERA® (the Verdin Assistant) is our own AI model, planned and developed in-house, specifically for use by Verdin Property. She lives inside each property listing and is designed to do one thing exceptionally well: help buyers make more informed decisions.
When you are looking at a property on our site, VERA® can offer insights that go beyond the listing itself – area context, practical considerations, the kind of information that previously required a phone call or a meeting. She does not replace those conversations; she makes the ones that do happen more meaningful, because the buyer arrives better informed.
We built VERA® because we kept seeing the same pattern: buyers spending hours researching before they felt confident enough to enquire. VERA® compresses that process without cutting corners. The right information, in the right place, at the right moment.
There is also a broader shift happening in how people find information. AI-powered search – the kind that delivers a direct answer rather than a list of links – is becoming a primary research tool for a growing number of buyers. VERA® positions Verdin Property well for that world. When someone asks an AI assistant about a property in Marbella or a neighbourhood on the Costa del Sol, the agencies best placed to appear in those answers are the ones whose content is rich, structured, and genuinely useful. VERA®, combined with the depth of content across our new site, is our answer to that.
There is nothing quite like it in this market, and I say that having looked at what others are doing.
What Has Not Changed
The agency behind the website. Myself and Dean founded this business in 2016 with a straightforward idea: be the kind of agents you would actually want to work with. Honest, knowledgeable, easy to deal with. That has not changed, and no amount of redesign will change it.
The new site is a better reflection of who we are today. The work ethic, the client relationships, and the standard we hold ourselves to, those were always there.
Go and Have a Look
Browse the listings, read a guide or two, and when you find a property you are curious about, ask VERA® something. I think you will see why we are excited about where this is heading.
As always, if you have feedback – or if you are thinking about buying or selling on the Costa del Sol – we are easy to reach.
