Nikki Beach, Elviria, Marbella East
When you think of a beach club in Marbella, your mind instantly thinks of Nikki Beach, by far and away one of the most recognisable venues on the coast. The brand itself is originally from Miami and is now in several major hotspots including Ibiza, Cannes and Dubai.
Nikki Beach is a superb venue for enjoying the summer, here you can sip delicious cocktails, spoil your friends and family with magnums of Dom Pérignon, enjoy the clubs’ swimming pool and soak up the sun on their Balinese beds on the beach, all whilst listening to the best summer music courtesy of the DJs.
For those looking to enjoy something to eat as well as drink, the food on offer at Nikki Beach varies from Japanese dishes such as sushi platters and Wagyu beef to the local delicacies of Gambas Pil Pil (sizzling prawns in garlic and oil) and also seafood platters.
Celebrations are also welcomed, with the venue being popular for parties and weddings. Nikki Beach themselves are famous for the White Opening and Red Closing parties.
La Plage Casanis, Elviria, Marbella East
If you’re wondering why Elviria is so popular and property prices rising, look no further than its beach scene. La Plage Casanis, part of the celebrated Casanis Group that own Casanis Bistrot in Marbella Old Town as well as the superlative Mamzel in Finca Besaya on the Golden Mile, is a popular beach club located at the Estrella del Mar beach and offers a warm and relaxing vibe for visitors.
A beautiful place to relax with plentiful sun-beds, La Plage Casanis serves exquisite gourmet, organic dishes, purls, steaks, salads and the locally famous ‘fish cooked in salt’, which is a must try!
This no-frills beach club is also well known for its sunset parties, a great place to enjoy a convivial evening with friends, family and a few drinks.
La Cabane, Los Monteros, Marbella East
Part of the 5 star Los Monteros Spa & Golf Resort, La Cabane has an exquisite designer look for the summer in collaboration with world famous Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. Draped in blue and white drapes and cushions and with beachside massages available to be booked, you can certainly indulge in the celebrity feeling!
This chic beach club enjoys a large swimming pool emblazoned with the name ‘La Cabane’ with the crystal waters of the Mediterranean Sea in the background, certainly adding to the air of exclusivity.
La Cabane affords the usual sun-beds with the added bonus of personal waiters, ready and waiting to bring some delicious and refreshing mojitos. This chic venue is also collaborating with celebrity chef Dani Garcia, responsible for some of Marbella’s finest restaurants, ensuring guests at La Cabane can enjoy some beautiful dishes.
La Sala by the Sea, Puerto Banús
Known as being one of the most popular and lively beach clubs on the whole of the coast, La Sala by the Sea is a social hub for party lovers. Offering a wide selection of drinks, themed parties and a varied menu that includes seafood, steaks and Asian influences such as duck with pancakes, La Sala is also very popular with the locals.
Drinks, well priced lunches and party time aside, La Sala also offers several bonus reasons to visit in the shape of beauty treatments and massages at their spa, plus time to relax at their beach beds.
However, for those simply looking to party and while away the hours this summer, you can look forward to the live music, DJ sets and also the high energy Banus atmosphere on offer.
Marbella Club
We just couldn’t compile a list of the best places to visit without including a Marbella staple. The Marbella Club itself. Over 60 years of hosting celebrities and A listers, gala events and the creme de la creme of royalty, the Marbella Club has one of the most magnificent beach clubs.
With a turquoise swimming pool, terracotta tiles and a thatched bar, what could be more Marbella? Here you can enjoy relaxing on a sun lounger or perhaps you would prefer to be next to the beach and the landmark Marbella Club pier. Waiter service will ensure your glass and your heart are full on the beach or you can also head over to one of the many restaurants in the hotel. We especially recommend El Patio, an excellent shaded area to enjoy in the summer.
